Selangor FC are pleased to announce the signing of Malaysian international winger A. Selvan, who becomes the latest addition to the Red Giants squad ahead of the upcoming Malaysia League season. 

The 25-year-old joins the Red Giants after producing a series of consistent performances for Negeri Sembilan FC in the Malaysia Super League. Renowned for his blistering pace, fearless attacking approach and exceptional work rate, Selvan is expected to add a new dimension to Selangor FC's attacking force.

In addition to operating on the right wing, Selvan is also capable of playing in several attacking and defensive roles, providing Head Coach Kim Pan-gon with greater tactical flexibility as the team prepares for the new campaign.

Speaking on the club's latest acquisition, Kim Pan-gon believes Selvan possesses all the qualities that perfectly suit Selangor FC's playing philosophy.

"Selvan is one of the fastest players in Malaysian football today. His pace is undoubtedly one of his biggest strengths, but what impressed me the most is his exceptional work rate and commitment on the pitch. At Selangor FC, we want to play fast, dynamic and aggressive attacking football, and Selvan fits that philosophy perfectly. He is also capable of playing in several positions on the right side, giving us greater tactical flexibility. Speaking after completing his move, Selvan described joining Selangor FC as a challenge he has long been looking forward to.

When asked about adapting to his new surroundings, Selvan is confident he will settle into the squad quickly.

"I already know several of the players here from the national team, and I've also worked with Coach Kim before. I believe they will help me settle in quickly, and I'm looking forward to starting training and building strong chemistry with my new teammates."
